Join the library by visiting either campus library and showing your staff identification card. Your staff identification card will be your library card.
Once you are registered as a library member you will receive an email to set up a password. You will need to sign in to access online resources, request items and renew items.
All items except reference material are available for borrowing. There is no limit to how many items you can borrow at one time.
Item | Loan Period |
---|---|
Books | 4 weeks |
Magazines/Journals | 2 weeks |
DVD and CDs | 2 weeks |
Place a hold on an item by signing into your library account. Items are held for one week before they are reshelved or issued to another library member if not collected.
Renew your items online or talk to Library staff. An item cannot be renewed if it has been requested by another library member.
Notices for overdue items are sent to your staff email account. There are no late fees, however you will not be able to borrow if you have items outstanding.
You may be billed to replace lost or damaged items that were issued on your card. You will not be able to borrow until the bill is paid.
Items can be sent between Batchelor and Central Australian Campus libraries.
To request items from other libraries or institutions email library@batchelor.edu.au
